Why Mudcrone?

Mud is a reference to clay, earth, dirt. The basic element. The feel of earth and water running through my hands as the wheel spins rhytmically is a sensation I fell in love with from the first moment.

I truly believe it is never too late to have a happy childhood. I am having mine now, playing in mud.

Crone is a woman over forty, post menapausal who in many societies is respected for her wisdom and experience. It is the final phase of many women's lives. The first phase is maidenhood. The second phase is motherhood. It is a rite of passage.
